ICES-AP JV is a small business joint venture between Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (ICES), a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Savant Financial Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Ariel Partners (Ariel), an NWBOC-certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). With over a combined 40 years of technical experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government across various regions of the country, ICES-AP JV brings our collective expertise to offering a full spectrum of IT services to support the ever-changing mission requirements of our existing and new customers.
Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (ICES) is a leading small business provider of data analytics, enterprise architecture, and engineering services to the U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and other agencies. ICES personnel have a demonstrable ability to effectively transition from the mission planning and requirements stage through deployment and operations. ICES personnel are experts in framework architectures, architectural alignment, security engineering, and information assurance that enable our clients to migrate from current systems to robust, flexible, open architectures.
ICES applies its unique enterprise-level architecture framework, including a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodology called ICES Architecture Framework (IAF) and the associated ICES Architecture Maturity Model© (IAMM©) at the forefront of Digital Engineering, delivering highly complex architectures and major new system acquisitions to our customers. The IAF combines best practices from a broad range of architectures frameworks and reference models, including OMB Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), NIST Cloud Computing Reference Architecture, the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and the Intelligence Community’s Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) FEAF extensions. Additionally, the IAF draws from commercially relevant architecture frameworks, including the Zachman Architecture Framework (ZAF) and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and is updated regularly to address emerging architecture concepts. As such, IAF is a “fit for purpose” framework that can scale to the needs of an organization’s critical problems and encompasses People, Processes, and Technologies of an enterprise. The IAMM© allows enterprise, data, solution, and business architects the ability to evaluate architecture maturity through a controlled standards-based assessment process to evaluate architectures based on three capability areas – Completeness, Utilization, and Results. The IAMM© was developed by ICES for use on our architecture projects to provide an objective measure of the maturity of current state architecture data and a measure of improvement in that data over time. Through the use of the IAMM©, we are able to establish outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each capability area.
